The Uganda Education Hub is dedicated to fostering a brighter future for the youth of Uganda by providing access to quality education, resources, and opportunities for growth and development. We strive to empower individuals through learning, enabling them to become active and productive members of their communities and contribute to the overall progress of Uganda.

Meet Our Team
Sarah Nakimuli
Executive Director
Sarah is a passionate advocate for education in Uganda, with over 15 years of experience in the non-profit sector. She holds a Master's degree in Education from Makerere University and is committed to creating a positive impact on the lives of Ugandan youth.
David Okello
Programs Manager
David is responsible for the design, implementation, and evaluation of our educational programs. He has a background in community development and a deep understanding of the challenges facing Ugandan students. David holds a Bachelor's degree in Social Work from Uganda Christian University.
Aisha Nambozo
Communications Officer
Aisha manages our communication strategies and ensures that our message reaches a wide audience. She is skilled in social media marketing, content creation, and public relations. Aisha holds a Diploma in Journalism from the Uganda Institute of Information and Communications Technology.
Michael Kizza
IT Support Specialist
Michael is our tech guru, ensuring that all our systems run smoothly and efficiently. He provides vital technical support to our team and manages our online resources. Michael is a graduate of the Kampala Institute of Technology with a degree in Computer Science.
Our History
- 2018: Founded by a group of concerned educators and community leaders in Kampala. Initial focus on providing after-school tutoring programs for underprivileged children.
- 2019: Expanded our programs to include vocational training and skills development for young adults. Partnered with local businesses to provide internship opportunities.
- 2020: Launched our online learning platform to reach students in remote areas of Uganda. Developed partnerships with international organizations to secure funding and resources.
- 2021: Opened our first community learning center in Gulu, providing access to computers, internet, and educational materials. Implemented a mentorship program to support students' academic and personal growth.
- 2022: Received recognition from the Ugandan Ministry of Education for our innovative approach to education. Hosted our first annual education conference, bringing together educators, policymakers, and community members.
- 2023: Expanded our reach to support schools with updated educational materials and teacher training programs. Introduced a scholarship program aimed at supporting talented students from disadvantaged backgrounds to pursue higher education.
- 2024: Forged a new partnership with "Educate Uganda," an international NGO, to extend our reach in northern Uganda, specifically focusing on supporting girls' education in conflict-affected areas.
- 2025: Established a formal collaboration with the National Curriculum Development Centre (NCDC) to co-develop a series of vocational training modules tailored to the needs of the local job market.
